To the seafood lovers out there - my instastory has been taken over by the incredible seafood brunch at the Beach Pavillion, Al Bustan Palace hotel by Ritz Carlton in Muscat, Oman. Feast on the fresh catch of the day - fish, crab, lobster, mussels and more. For the meat lovers, some BBQ braai and for the veggies, salads galore - all with the priceless view of the beautiful ocean. The brunch is every Friday - booking in advance is essential to guarantee a table.

The holiday season calls for festive food and family gatherings - we did both today at Gordon Ramsay's Heddon Street Kitchen 😍 I cannot even tell you how long I've been waiting for this moment - yes that is a Beef Wellington and yes folks, it's halal! Before you get too excited though please note it's halal pre-order. The restaurant were lovely about arranging it, they changed the jus as well because it originally had red wine in it. The beef was cooked medium rare - very tender and flavoursome, a mushroom herb layer surrounded the fillet and then crispy flaky pastry (perfectly baked - even Mary Berry would approve 👌). Truffle mash hiked up the luxuriousness of this showstopper. The staff were really attentive and the meal just hit the spot. We had 4 young children in our group and it was family friendly yet still felt like a special for the adults. Kids eat free with a paying adult - and their food was ace (we tried it!) They even have an ice cream bar for young diners to invent their own sundaes. 🍨 Check out my instastory for more pics.... I have an annual tradition to go to Stylist Live with two of my besties (you know who you are!) It's the best afternoon of pampering, eating, gossiping and shopping.. 💅🍩👯👛 Long may this tradition continue! For those of you who missed my story on sunday, here's a few standout dishes from the Mzuri Khana supperclub. My mum is from Uganda and like many East African Brits she was forced to leave her country but she managed to bring a bit of her home back with her in family recipes. Usually mum cooks for us so it was about time she was on the receiving end! Aaliyah delivered nostalgic memories through every morsel of the classic dishes like Kuku paka and Chuku Chuku. She invented new flavour combinations and modernised the presentation through other dishes. Overall the experience was really great and the proof was in mums smile at the end! If you haven't been, I'd highly recommend the Mzuri Khana supperclub (im not being paid to say this fyi!) It was lovely to see recipes being passed down the generations and to finally see East African cuisine getting in on the London food scene. Aaliyah cooking with her mum made me want to get into the kitchen with mine! Thank you for a lovely afternoon @mzurikhana
