A Midsummer Eid’s High Tea (Pre-Event)

Vintage tea service, cucumber sandwiches and scones with large dollops of clotted cream… There’s nothing I love more than a quintessential English tea party! So when I read about the Midsummer Eid’d High tea hosted by New Cavendish Events, you can imagine my excitement.

This exclusive ladies-only event is being held at the beautiful Chandos House, a Grade I Listed building with stunning garden terrace in London. The private setting allows women wearing hijab to remove it for the afternoon (if they so please) as all the guests and staff will be female.

An exquisite halal afternoon tea is on offer followed by a luxury beauty treatment (mini makeover, hair styling, manicure or massage) provided by Blossom and Jasmine, whose previous clients include Vogue and London Fashion Week. Or for a unique experience, the elite perfumer Penhaligon’s can create a personal fragrance profile for you – and  they’ll be offering a special discount on their products on the day.

There will be ample opportunity to network and mingle with professional and influential women in the UK and the chance to shift the focus from ourselves to those less fortunate as the charity Human Appeal discuss the Syria crisis and how we can get involved in fundraising.

There will be the chance to have professional photographs taken by Big Image Photography on the day and have the talented Moheen adorn your body with her artistic henna designs. And if that isn’t enough, everyone will leave with a bag full of goodies to enjoy in the comfort of your own home!

Several high-end brands will also be showcasing their products including the Datery, Oud luxury collection, Allegra London and Enchanting boutique, to name but a few.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your closest girlfriends and join us this Saturday 23rd July 2016 – but hurry! Tickets are selling out fast and you must book before Tuesday to guarantee a place.
